A new and exciting project has come in for the State of Georgia via integration giant Sapient Nitro. Sapient has engaged Celebrate Drupal Co-Founder and V.P. - Chris McGrath as a senior resource to help remedy issues that were left by the original firm. Mr. McGrath not only brings expert Drupal skills to the role, but also specific background with eHealth through his work with the State of Washington's Department of Health, and The US Department's of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

The project is for the Georgia Health Information Network. The Georgia Health Information Network (GaHIN) serves with the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) and the Georgia Health Information Technology Regional Extension Center (GA-HITEC) in a public-private collaborative to establish Georgia's statewide health information exchange, to connect Service Area HIEs, large integrated health systems, payers, wellness partners and other health care stakeholders. These organizations have come together to enable statewide electronic health information network through governance, project management, policy development, business and financial planning, technical infrastructure development, marketing, and stakeholder engagement.

Primarily the work will involve the refinement of features, look and feel and the adaption of responsive design for the site currently in Drupal 7. We are very excited for this opportunity and hope it will be the first of many with both Sapient and Georgia. Go Drupal!
